The company has been established to bring the best of International Banking Expertise and Best Practice to China’s financial sector – inside China.  There is a gap in the Chinese financial sector for experienced international financial and banking expertise to support the internationalization of local Chinese financial institutions.  We want to provide advice and skills. As China’s economic influence grows steadily over the next years its banking system will need to become proficient in initiating & managing international business, and expert in understanding all international & national regulations. China like the rest of the world will need to raise the standards and regulations for its financial sector.  We want to participate in developing a local Chinese and its certificate of quality and ethics. The growing importance and power of China’s financial system will create opportunities for international M&A and financial activity.  We see opportunity and want to create a fund to invest in overseas financial assets. It is therefore the right time for CBF to be established to meet this growing need and provide a range of services from consulting and education through to fund management for the full range of investment an assets allocation, and specific M&A investments.
